Camille J. AKA Carmela J. Cascio

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Tuesday, February 6th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), REVERE, for Camille J. AKA Carmela J. Cascio, who passed ending a lengthy illness on Tuesday, January 30th, just 4 days following her ninety-third (93) birthday. Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 7th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 11:00 a.m.

Born & raised in Boston’s North End, she attended Boston schools and came to live in Revere over 60 years ago. Mrs. Cascio was the proud mother of five children, sixteen (16) grandchildren & twenty-two great-grandchildren. She enjoyed the presence of her family & extended family throughout her long life.

She was the wife of the late, Frank V. Cascio, who passed in October of 2007. Shortly after the death of her husband, she would suffer the passing’s of a daughter, Maryann & a son, Francis A. “Sonny”. She is the cherished mother of Victor K. Cascio & his wife, Bonnie of Atlanta, Georgia, Joan C. Cascio-Feliciano & her husband, Nelson of Beverly, formerly of Revere, Edward J. Cascio & his wife, Maria of Revere & the late Maryann Curtis & Francis A. “Sonny” Cascio. She is also lovingly survived by her daughter-in-law, Joan G. Cascio of Saugus & many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Interment will follow, immediately after the funeral mass at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
