Cosimo Colella

In Revere, formerly of Avellino, Italy at 76 years on July 2nd following a brief illness. Beloved husband of 49 years to Annamaria (Giunta). Cherished father of David Colella & his wife Marie of Peabody & Diana Miller & her husband Gary of Lynn. Devoted grandfather “Nonno” to Kylie, Owen, Mason, Nicolas & Maxwell. Dear brother of Lidia Minichiello & her husband Armando, Giuseppe Colella & his wife Maria, all of Milan, Italy & Antonella Cataldo & her late husband Pasquale of Melrose. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 7th at 11:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.) REVERE & immediately followed with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Retiree of the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel of Boston. He enjoyed playing bocci with the Rosetti Seniors of Revere. On hot summer days, he was a regular at Constitution Beach in East Boston with his circle of friends.

    God Bless Cosimo. You and your family are in my prayers as I fondly remember all the wonderful Thursday afternoons during Bocce season at the Rosetti-Cowan Senior Center. He was a gentleman with a very good nature and twinkle in his eye.

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
