Dorothy N. (Palladino) Dudley

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, September 13th from 4 to 7 p.m in the Vertuccio and Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere for Dorothy N. (Palladino) Dudley, who died on Monday, September 9th at Boston Medical Center, Boston after a brief illness.  Her funeral service will follow the visiting hours at 7:15 p.m. in the Funeral Home.  Born & raised in Revere, Mrs. Dudley was a life long Revere resident & a 1943 alumna of Revere High School.  She was a homemaker all her life.  She was a member of the East Boston Pace Health Program.  She was the wife of the late, Arthur D. Dudley who died November of 1985.  She is the devoted mother of Paul Dudley & his wife Deborah of Seabrook, NH, Robin A. Sullivan & her husband Joseph of New Ipswich, NH & the late Diane M. Scott.  She is the dear sister of Arthur Palladino of Arlington, Marie DiGiacomo of Wakefield & Nella Serino of Salem, MA.  She is also lovingly  survived by five grandchildren &  11 great grand children & several nieces & nephews.  Interment will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Boston Medical Center, 850 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118, ATTN: Development Office.

    Auntie Dottie will be sadly missed. I had some fun times with her, and I will hold onto those memories. She is now at peace with Uncle Dale.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
