Eileen L. (Sullivan) Ferraro

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, July 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE for Eileen L. (Sullivan) Ferraro, who died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 15th at her home in Revere, she would have celebrated her 89th birthday on July 31st. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., REVERE at 11:00 a.m., immediately followed with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Eileen was born in Lynn, she was raised & educated in Saugus. She was a proud alumna of Saugus Highs School, Class of 1950. After high school, she worked at New England Tel & Tel until the early 1960’.  She and her husband were married & settled in Revere where she raised her children. She stopped working to take care & raise her children. She was a proud mother & wife. She was dedicated to her family & extended family.

She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Ferraro. Loving mother of Richard L. Ferraro & wife Sheila of York, PA, Laurie M. Ferraro of East Boston & David A. Ferraro of Rockland. Cherished grandmother of Felicia, Brianna, David & Kyra Ferraro. She is also lovingly survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Northeast Elder Services, ATTN: “Meals on Wheels”, 300 Rosewood Dr., Danvers, MA 01923.

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
