Eleanor F. (Tufts) Adams

Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration of Life for Eleanor F. (Tufts) Adams on Saturday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m., on the Campus of the Point of Pines Yacht Club, 28 Rice Ave., Revere. Mrs. Adams passed on Monday, May 20th, 2019 at Grosvenor Park Nursing Center of Salem, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Adams was born & raised in Malden, attended Malden schools and moved to Revere, seventy (70) years ago. She was the beloved daughter to the late Robert Joseph Tufts & Grace Mae (Giles) Tufts. She was married to the late Eugene N. Adams, who passed on September 28, 2014. She is the cherished mother to John R. Adams of Revere & Deborah J. Leonard & her husband, Barry of San Diego, California, She is also the devoted grandmother to Trevor J. Adams & his wife, Jennifer of North Royalton, Ohio, Erin Leonard of San Diego, California and Angela D’Ambrosio & her companion, Daniel O’Connor of Nahant. She is also lovingly survived by her two great-grandchildren, Jake Daniel O’Connor and Brody O’Connor & many nieces & nephews. She was the dear sister to the late, Robert and John Tufts, Pearl VanDerpat, and Selma Watson.

Celebration of Life

Saturday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m. at the Point of Pines Yacht Club, 28 Rice Ave., Revere.

Remembrances may be made to the Food Pantry at First Congregational Church, 230 Beach St., Revere, MA 02151.

We would like to announce that after 37 years of caring for thousands of families at our 773 Broadway location, on January 31st, 2023 we will be officially RELOCATING, to our new location at 262 Beach St., Revere.
On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
