Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, April 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) REVERE, for Eva M. (Fucillo) Riccio, who passed in the presence of her God, serenely & peacefully, on Tuesday, April 3rd at her Chelsea residence at the privileged age of 102 years. Born in Revere, the family lived there until moving to Boston’s North End, where Eva attended schools & then moved to Chelsea over 75 years ago. She was married to the late Joseph R. Until her early nineties, she was a long-time active member of “The Socialites” at Our Lady of Grace Parish of Chelsea & a member of the Saugus Senior Center.
She is the cherished mother of Joseph A. Riccio & Libria M. “Libby” Downing, both of Chelsea. She is the devoted aunt to Theodore “Skip” Fucillo & wife Linda of Wells Beach, Maine, Gerald Riccio & wife Linda of Boston’s North End, David Riccio & wife Gina of Revere & several other faithful nieces & nephews. She was the dear sister of the late Josephine Fucillo, Esther Sicuranza, Armando Fucillo & Theodore Fucillo. She is the proud daughter of the late Luigi & Michelina (Cataldo) Fucillo.
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May you be comforted by the God of all comfort and may your hearts find peace at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4
