He served with the US AIR FORCE RESERVES during the Viet-Nam-Era & then upon discharge from the AIR FORCE, reenlisted in the Reserves, one day later, on March 20, 1977. Karen and family,
So sorry to read about the passing of your father in the Revere Journal. Karen, it seems like we were just in school at the Barrows and now we are saying goodbye to our beloved parents. My Mom passed in 2005. Prayers and condolences being sent to you and your family during this difficult time. Your father will live on in your memories and heart.
Big Jim was a great guy that I will always have fond memories of. He made me laugh and was someone that I could look up to in the security business, not only as a friend but a great source and mentor in the industry.
My heart goes out to Flo and all the Dixon children on his passing. Jim was truly one of a kind and will be missed at all. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

We have all lost a friend, Brother, and devoted family man. He will always be remembered for his warmth, sense of humor, and willingness to reach out to others in need. Jim, your Brothers miss you greatly.
I was distressed to hear from my family of Jim’s passing. I always enjoyed being around his kindness and laughter. I am thinking of you all at this time. Please take care of one another.
