Jeanette S. “Jean” Vertuccio

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, February 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere for Jeanette S. “Jean” (Wong) Vertuccio, who died unexpectedly at her Billerica residence on Saturday, February 3rd. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home, following the visitation at 7:15 p.m.

Born in Worcester, Jeanette S. “Jean” lived in Boston’s Chinatown for over 25 years and attended Boston schools. The family have been residents of Billerica for over 37 years. In her early working career, Jean worked for the former Beverly-Rose Sportswear of Chinatown for about ten years.

She is the wife for over 50 years to Richard G. Vertuccio, Sr. She is the cherished mother to Judy M. MacDonald & her husband, William J., III of Burlington, Richard G. Vertuccio, Jr. & his wife, Laurie A. of Pelham, N.H. & the late Steven J. Vertuccio. Cherished grandmother of Natalia Li Vertuccio & Vance S. Vertuccio both of Pelham, NH. Dear sister of Nancy Dow & husband, Roger of Framingham, Michael Wong of Summerlin, Nevada, Joyce Wong of Mansfield, CT, Louise Laliberte of Boston, Anne Walgreen & husband, Robert of Scituate, Richard Wong & wife, Marcia of Marlboro, Elaine Wong & husband, Philip Lung of Boston. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces & nephews.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
