Joseph F. Cunningham

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Friday, November 16th, in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for Joseph F. Cunningham, who died most unexpectedly on Monday, November 12th, at his Revere residence in the Jack Satter House on Revere Beach Blvd. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, November 16th at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.)REVERE at 11 :30 a.m. & immediately followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Born in Chelsea, “Joe” was a lifelong resident of Revere and an alumnus of Revere High School, Class of 1963. For most of his working career, he was a master machinist, employed by several local industries. Late in his career, he began a stint for about five years with the BJ’s Wholesale Club in Medford as a Clerk-foreman, retiring in 2009. During the sixties, he served with Army National Guard Reserve during the Vietnam Era. He was as a member of the Residents’ Association at Jack Satter House, Revere.

He was the beloved son of the late John W. Cunningham, Sr. & Mary M. (O’Brien) Cunningham. He is the devoted brother to John W. “Jack” Cunningham, Jr. & his wife, Diane of Andover & Marco Island, Florida & the late Ellen J. Cunningham. He is also the cherished nephew to Elizabeth E. “Betty” (Raulins) O’Brien of Revere. He is also lovingly survived by many faithful & attentive cousins & also by his companion, Mary N. MacDonald of Revere.

Friday, November 16th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass

Saturday, November 17th at 11:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Revere

Interment

Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
