Lisa M. (Mollenauer) Flury

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Wednesday, November 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rt.1017) Revere, for Lisa M. (Mollenauer) Flury, who died on Thursday, November 5th at the CHA – Everett Hospital, suddenly after a long illness with Leukemia, she was 49 years old. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 7:15 p.m. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic we will be following the strict rules, guidelines & mandates from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, The CDC & the City of Revere. All visitors must wear a face covering, temperature check, social distances & 25 people maximum. These regulations will be strictly enforced.

Lisa was a native of Pittsburgh, PA.  She was raised & educated in Pittsburgh, later moving to Boston in 2000. She was employed as a Customer Service Representative. Lisa met Brian T. Flury during her time in the Boston area. The couple was married & had 2 children together. They remained in Revere raising their family. Sadly, approximately 5 years ago, Lisa was diagnosed with Leukemia. This caused her to stop working due to her declining health, but it did not stop the fight she had in her. As a strong woman & wonderful mother, she fought every day to have one more day with her husband and children. She lost her courageous & valiant battle, but never lost her will to love and demonstrate her will to live.

She is the beloved daughter of Thomas E. Mollenauer, Sr.  & Paulette K. (Pawling) Mollenauer of West Hickory, PA. Devoted wife of Brian T. Flury of Revere. Loving & cherished mother of Carsen R. Flury of Londonderry, NH, Sara R. Flury & Chloe R. Flury, both of Revere & grandmother of Ty Cameron Cory. Dear sister of Thomas E. Mollenauer, Jr. & wife Kim of Ashaland, OH. She is also survived by many loving & caring friends & extended family.

I had the pleasure to meet your wife and kids that one evening at Riverside, and we’ve shared many heart to heart stories. Your wife God rest her soul was an absolute fighter, and such an amazing wife and mother to fight this long battle so she could be with you and your daughters for as long as possible. That takes courage and a fighting spirit which she obviously had. Im going to do my best to make it their Wednesday night but I wanted you to know I love ya pal and im here for you .anytime, whatever you need. Love always JDA

To all our families, friends, and residents of Revere, East Boston, and surrounding communities of the North Shore,

We would like to announce that after 37 years of caring for thousands of families at our 773 Broadway location, on January 31st, 2023 we will be officially RELOCATING, to our new location at 262 Beach St., Revere.
On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
Thank you for your friendship and continued support.
God bless you all.
Faithfully,

Your friends at Vertuccio Smith and Vazza.
