Malesa “Sue” (Skelton) Fagone

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, November 11th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the Vertuccio and Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107 ) REVERE for Malesa “Sue” (Skelton) Fagone, who died on Tuesday, November 5th at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose following a long illness. She was 73 years old. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, November 12th at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Entombment in Holy Cross Community Mausoleum, Malden.

Sue was born December 20th, 1945 to Edwin M. & Olga M. (Turino) Skelton in Boston. She was raised in Roslindale and educated in Boston Public Schools and is an alumna of Roslindale High School, Class of 1963. Sue was later married and had one son, Ricky. She was a devoted housewife & mother. She remained very close with her parents and sister until their deaths. She was a very quiet and kind woman who enjoyed the company & presence of her family.

She is the wife of Richard A. Fagone of Revere. The loving mother of the late Richard “Ricky” Fagone. Loving sister of the late Theresa Lou Stack. Cherished aunt of Bryan E. Stack of Birmingham, AL and Kimberly Beaupre & her husband Bryan of Derry, NH. The adored grand aunt of Sarah E. & Victoria G. Stack both of Birmingham, AL and Brennah, Kyle & Brayden Beaupre of Derry, NH. Dear cousin of Alida Falzone & her companion Richard Vitale & Cynthia Willette. She is also lovingly survived by her dear friend F. Ann Martin of Revere.

Tuesday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home

Entombment

Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden (Community Mausoleum)

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
