Marilyn T. (DeLuca) Prizio

Family & friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 31st at 11 :00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere for Marilyn  T. (DeLuca) Daley-Prizio, who died on Saturday, May 27th at the Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers, following a lengthy illness. Services will conclude with entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery – Versailles Mausoleum, Everett.

Born & raised in Newton, she attended Newton schools and was a 1956 alumna of Newton High School. She resided in Newton, until moving to Revere in 1987. For over 20 years, she worked with the Revere Police as a Meter Maid, retiring in 2003. A devoted & beloved wife, mother, sister & grandmother & aunt, she earned the title “favorite” by all her family, especially her children, grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

She is the adored wife of 30 years, to Retired Revere Patrolman, Angelo A. Prizio. She is the cherished mother of John F. Daley of Newton, James M. Daley of Chelmsford, Lynn T. Benson & her husband Anthony of Winthrop & Denise T. Morelli & her husband Toby of Danvers. She is the proud grandmother to Shannon M. Daley of Chelmsford, Cailyn R. Benson & Michael N. Benson, both of Winthrop, Matthew A., Evan M. & Sophia K. Morelli, all of Danvers. She is the dear sister of Elizabeth A. Bradley & her husband Charles A. of Winthrop, Lorraine T. DeLuca-Cavanaugh & her husband Thomas of Point of Pines, Revere & the late Lawrence C. DeLuca Jr. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
