Mary L. (Hartnett) Cassani
Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 beginning at 9 a.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for Mary L. (Hartnett) Cassani, who died quietly on Saturday, November 1st at Boston’s Massachusetts General Hospital, following complications related to Leukemia, at 83 years. Her Funeral Mass will follow the visitation on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church (corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere. Born & raised in Revere, she lived her entire life in Revere, & was a 1948 alumna of Revere High School. Mrs. Cassani retired in 1989 after over ten years of service as a secretary with the MBTA. She was the dear wife of the late, John A. Cassani, who died in 1974. She was the daughter of the late, John T. Hartnett & Mary I. (Turner) Hartnett. She is the beloved sister to Joan T. Hartnett of Orlando, Florida, & is also lovingly survived by many cousins. Interment will be in the family lot at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
