Michael G. Amore

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, March 27th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) REVERE, for Michael G. Amore, who passed unexpectedly on Monday, March 19th. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 28th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), REVERE at 10:30 a.m., immediately followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Born in Malden, Michael was a lifelong Revere resident, before moving to Danvers, one year ago. He was a 1994 alumnus of Revere High School & a 1990 alumnus of Immaculate Conception Grammar School. He attended the Police Academy and was appointed to the Revere Fire Department seven years ago. He is a member of the Revere Firefighters Local 926 & a past Junior Vice Commander of the American Legion Post #61 of Revere for over 8 years. Four years ago, he founded “Amore Electric” of Revere & the North Shore & was working anxiously & completely for his family around the clock.

He is the beloved husband to Jillene M. Amore of Danvers. He is the adored “Dad” to Dominic M. Amore of Revere & Brooklynn M. Amore of Danvers. He is the cherished son of Retired Revere Fire Lt. Gerald A. Amore & Kathleen A. (Ryan) Amore of Revere. He is the devoted brother to Christine M. Malley & her husband, Revere Police Lt. Glenn Malley of Danvers, Kathleen R. Amore & Jennifer E. Amore-Angiulo, both of Revere, Revere Fire Lt. Kevin M. O’Hara of Saugus & Lt. Michael S. O’Hara of North Reading. He is also lovingly survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael is also survived by his faithful four-legged girls, “Lily” & “Lola”.

Wednesday, March 28th at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Revere

Interment

Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett

Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
