Natalie M. (Willey) Ewing
Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, beginning at 1 p.m. for Natalie M. (Willey) Ewing, who died on Tuesday, September 23rd following a brief illness at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home of Chelsea, at 78 years. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Born & raised in Torrington, Connecticut, she came to live in Revere over 60 years ago. Her early career was as an assembler for several area factories. Natalie was a devoted Mom, Grandmother, Sister, & Aunt. One of her cares was the love of abandoned animals, especially cats. Over the years, the family ascertains, that it would be difficult to assess the number of cats that Natalie gave home to. She is the widow of the late George W. Ewing. She is the devoted mother to: Kathleen A. Ferraro & her partner Manuel G. Cid, Jeanne E. Conte & her husband Richard, David B. Ewing, & John T. Ewing & his wife Kelley Crosby-Ewing, all of Revere. She is the cherished “Nana” to: Paul J. Ferraro of Somerville, Michelle E. Ferraro-Rankins & her husband Daniel J. of Manchester, New Hampshire, Jennifer L. Conte of Revere, Joshua Crosby of Glen Falls, New York, Tanya Crosby of Revere, & Elijah Miguel Crosby-Varquez of Revere. She is the dear sister to Fern Cruse of Woodstock, Vermont, Lorraine Boyden of Fort Meyers, Florida, & the late: Eunice Adams, Clyde, Glenn, & Evan Willey, Jr. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces & nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews. Entombment in the Columbarium at Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to: Animal Umbrella, P.O.
