Patricia E. (Fallon) Colburne

Family & friends are invited to attend a memorial funeral mass for Patricia E. (Fallon) Colburne, who died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 13th Colburne, Patriciafollowing a brief illness at Winchester Hospital, Winchester, on Saturday, January 9th at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere.

Born & raised in Chelsea, she was an alumna of Chelsea High School, Class of 1944. Most of her working career, was spent with NE. Tel & Tel., as a telephone operator, retiring in 1991, after 30 years of service. She also worked for the ADEPT Telephone Answering Service for several years, before final retirement. She lived in Revere for many years, before moving to the Barnstead-Merrimac Region of New Hampshire for about 20 years, returning to Wakefield, MA, “Pat” was a member of the Tel. Pioneers of America and a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish Community. Her late husband, Jack W. Colburne passed in March of 1981.

 

She is the cherished mother of, John W. “Jack” Colburne of Ayer, Ma. She was the devoted sister of the late, Ret. Chelsea Patrolman, Joseph E. Fallon, Lorraine M. Bowman, Marcella Edgett & Ernestine Page. She is also lovingly survived by her sister-in-law, Concetta “Connie” Fallon of Wakefield & many caring nephews, nieces ,grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Remembrances may be made to your favorite charity. Interment will be held privately at a latter time at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
