Paul M. Hurley
Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, December 26th from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere, for Paul M. Hurley, who died on Sunday, December 21st at the Wilmington Health Care Center in Wilmington after a long illness. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, December 27th at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 a.m.(250 Revere St. Revere). Born & raised in Revere, Paul was an alumnus of Revere High School Class of 1952, Paul was a member of the varsity Football Team and played other sports as well. He received an academic scholarship to Fryeburg Academy in Maine. Paul was a proprietor of a couple Pub’s on the north shore area. It is known by all of Paul’s friends & family that he was very proud of his Irish heritage. He is devoted husband of Gloria A. (Vitale) Hurley of Revere of whom he just celebrated 50 years of marriage with. He is the loving & cherished father of Jill E. Hurley of Revere. He is the beloved brother of the late Anthony Hurley, Joseph Hurley & Catherine McCann. Also lovingly survived by several nieces & nephews. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of Flowers remembrances may be made to: The Wilmington Health Care Center Activities Fund, 750 Woburn St., Wilmington, MA 01887.
