Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, September 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere for Robert Scott Boyd, who died unexpectedly at his East Boston residence onBoyd, Robert
Thursday, September 10th. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15 p.m.. Interment will be held privately.

Born in Stoneham, he was raised & educated in Everett and graduated from Everett High School, Class of 2008. He immediately began working for his Father, Scott R. Boyd in the Air Conditioning – H.V.A.C Installation Business.

Robert is the adoring father to Kaylee D. Boyd OF Malden, and the beloved son to Scott R. Boyd of Weymouth & Tracey A.(Ferullo) Boyd of Everett.  He is the devoted brother of Richard C. Boyd & his wife, Stacy of Malden. He is also lovingly survived by Kaylee’s Mom, Stacy L. Dell’Olio of Malden and his dear niece, Olivia R. Boyd of Malden. Robert is also the cherished grandson to Carol (Morgan) Ferullo of Everett & her husband Carl Ferullo of Saugus, Donna Conte & her husband Victor of Saugus & the late Richard Boyd. He is the devoted nephew of Mark Boyd & wife Michelle of Goffstown. NH, Cindy & John Tutton of Everett, Mary Ferullo of Revere & the late Kenneth Ferullo. Many faithful cousins also survive him.

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
