Roberta A. Morgan

Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, July 9th, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., in the Vertuccio and Smith Morgan, RobertaHome for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere, for Roberta A. Morgan, who died at Massachusetts General Hospital on Friday July 1st, she was 63 years old. A funeral service will follow the visiting hours at 3:15 p.m. in the funeral home.

Born & raised in Revere, Roberta attended Revere public schools, she is graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1971. After high school, Roberta had a deep interest in Theatre, so she pursued her passion and began taking acting classes in Boston. She studied acting and realized her dream to become an actress and moved to New York City. She attended acting schools in New York and was able to secure roles is several off Broadway plays. While in New York, she waitressed to earn a living there for about 15 years. When she returned home to Revere, she remained working as a waitress in several of the local restaurants. She worked at DeMaino’s restaurant for several years before her failing health forced her to retire.

She is the devoted daughter of the late Robert J. Morgan, Sr. & Margurite (O’Brien) Morgan. The cherished mother of Everett Sherman of New Jersey. The loving sister of Robert J. Morgan, Jr & his wife Raina, Adrienne M. Ferullo & James M. Morgan, all of Revere and the late William S. Morgan & Stephen J. Morgan. She adored niece of Dorothy LaRochelle of Chelsea. She is the loving aunt of William Ferullo & his wife Jessica of Braintree, Matthew Ferullo of Chicago, IL & Ryan Voss of Malden. She is also lovingly survived by many cousins. Interment will be Private.

    We will miss Roberta and her warm and gentle ways but always keep her in our thoughts and prayers. She courageously pursued and achieved her dream and showed us all that with determination she would succeed! Her smile and kind nature will be how we will remember her and love her always. God Bless her soul and may She Rest in Peace eternally. xox

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
