Ronald R. Marciello

Family & friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, October 12th in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for Ronald R. Marciello, who passed away on October 6th, following a brief illness, he was 79 years of age. A Graveside Service will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., EVERETT at 12:00 p.m.

Born in Boston, he attended local schools and was a graduate of Boston Latin High School. He soon enlisted in the U.S. Army and served honorably during the Vietnam Era. Ronald then joined the workforce and worked of over 30 years in Finance & Loss Prevention at Filene’s in Boston, retiring in 1997. He and his wife of 25 years, Sandra, resided in Revere for many years until moving to Peabody in 2014. Ronald was a longtime member and administrator of the Revere Moose Lodge #1272.

He is the beloved husband of 25 years Sandra L. (McComiskey) Marciello. Ronnie was the very proud surrogate “Dad” to Darlene Dawson & her husband Stephen of Londonderry, NH, Kristine L. Brescia & her husband Scott of Everett & Heather E. Norman & her husband Steven of Redwood City, CA. Dear brother of Doreen DeAngelo of Revere & the late Gregory J. Marciello & his surviving wife, Donna M. Marciello of FL, formerly of Revere. Cherished “Papa” to Connor & Sean Dawson, both of Londonderry, NH, Dillon Brescia of Everett & “Sam” Alexander Norman of Redwoood City, CA. Devoted uncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
