Dear Kenny –
Beautiful obituary; incredible all the people whose lives she touched. My heart is heavy on this day as I think of all of you and wish I could be there; you’ve been in my thoughts during this difficult time. Aunt Rosemarie was such a firecracker and I always looked up to her – to me, she was fearless. I hope she’s looking down at all of us, having a martini and a laugh, and I hope we can all get together soon.
Love, Karin
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.
– Mary Elizabeth Frye, 1932
Rest in peace dear Mother, may you be at peace in Heaven!
Mark and I are so sorry for your loss. Rosemarie was a special lady, a good friend and an important part of our lives. We will miss her greatly. We had great times together and great laughs!! We were blessed to know her and will always have our memories!!! Till we meet again, Girl!! love you!!
Rosemarie was more like a sister than a friend. We shared so many laughter and tears through the years. She so loved her family and felt so blessed to have them. I will always remember her strength and courage and take comfort in knowing that she is now in a better place. Heaven definitely has a new angel and farewell dear cousin, I will miss you all the days of my life. Until we meet again…..
