Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 from 3 – 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for Ruth E. (McMahon) Shea, who died on Wednesday, October 30th at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, following a long illness, at 93 years.  Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, November 4th at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church (corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere at 10:30 a.m.  Ruth was born in Concord, New Hampshire, came to live in Dorchester as a young girl, & came to live in Revere for over 60 years until moving to the Granada Highlands, Malden, in 1998.  She is the wife of the late Joseph H. Shea, Sr., who died in February of 2002.  She is the devoted mother of: Joseph H. Shea, Jr. & his wife Lisa of Wakefield, Robert T. Shea & his wife Janet of Garland, Texas, Paul S. Shea & his wife Linda of Andover, Eleanor M. Sarcia of Lowell, John M. Shea & his wife Janet of Quincy, & Marie I. Luciano & her husband John of Tewksbury.  She is the dear sister of Martin McMahon, Jr. & his wife Alberta of Lynnfield, Virginia English of Everett, & the late: Robert M. & William M. McMahon.  She is also lovingly survived by 14 cherished grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Eileen McMahon of Lynnfield, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, c/o Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
