Viola M. (Capozzi) Viviano

Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 30th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., for Viola M. (Capozzi) Viviano, who passed at her Revere residence on Wednesday, June 20th, following a brief illness. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted & interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden will be held privately.

Born & raised in Revere, Viola attended Revere Schools. For over 25 years, she had a working career with Filene’s Basement Store of Saugus. She enjoyed her job & over the years made many friends and associates. Above all Viola was a devoted Wife, Mom, Grandmother & Daughter. Her life was centered around her family.

She is the wife of the late Michael F. Viviano, who passed on December 19, 1997. She is the cherished mother to Stephen D. Viviano & his long-time companion, Kathleen Campbell of Revere, Revere Deputy Fire Chief, Michael G. Viviano & his wife, Carla J. Viviano of Middleton & the late Frank D. Viviano. She is also the devoted grandmother of Maureen R. Viviano & her long-time companion, Murray Constant of Everett, Revere Firefighter Stephen D. Viviano Jr. & Michael J. O’Brien, both of Nahant, Michael P. Viviano of Arlington, V.A. and David A. Viviano of Boston. She is also lovingly survived by her great-granddaughter, Jordyn. She is the dear sister of Matilda Casella of Waltham & the late Assunta “Sue” Penachio & Sylvia Vanetzian. Mrs. Viviano was a long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Revere V.F.W. Post (Mottollo #4512) & St. Anthony’s Anthonian Club.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
