William R. Wareham

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for William R. Wareham, beginning at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere, at 11 a.m.  He died on Wednesday, March 20th at his Revere residence, unexpectedly at 59 years.  A native of Revere, he lived here all his life & was a 1972 alumnus of Revere High School.  He continued his education to earn himself an electrician’s license.  He worked for over 18 years with Helco Electric Company of Peabody.  He is the beloved husband of 39 years to June M. (Salie) Wareham.  He is the devoted father of: Kelly L. Wareham & her companion Thomas D’Avella of Florida, & the late Chris M. Wareham & the late Tiffany P. Wareham.  He is the cherished Grandfather of Monica, Mikey, Derek, & Nicholas.  He is also lovingly survived by his Parents, Wilson R. & Dorothy T. (Bell) Wareham of Ft. Suzy, FL, & his sister Patricia Stowell & her husband William of Revere.  He was the brother of the late, Lori J. Palladino.  He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.  Interment will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Revere League for Special Needs, 200 Winthrop Ave., Revere, MA 02151.

Funeral Mass

Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere.

Interment

Will be private.

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
