Hagstrom, who passed following a brief illness on Sunday, May 12th at his Revere residence. Born & raised in Lynn, the family moved to East Boston when Tom was a young boy and he & his family remained in East Boston, until 1963, when he married, Georgianna A. (McCarthy). He was an alumnus of Roxbury Memorial High School for Boys, Class of 1952. He entered the U.S. Navy in June of 1955, just at the very beginning of the “Viet-Nam Era” & would serve until June of 1959. Most of his working career was spent in the Lithography profession, working for many years at the former “EMCO” of Everett & later at Daniel’s Printing of Malden, from where he retired in 1998.A conservative personality, Tom served his God, his Church and his country with quiet respect & dignity. However & especially, he was the quintessence of a “Family Man”, thoroughly enjoying the presence and company of his beloved family & extended family. Tom was a long-time member of the Swampscott Council, Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Georgianna A. (McCarthy) Hagstrom. Adored father to Aurelie A. Hagstrom of Providence, RI, Thomas J. Hagstrom of Revere, Kimberly A. DeLuca & husband Antonio & Heide A. Carbone & husband Andrew J., all of Lynnfield & Erica A. Scoppettuolo & husband Joseph of Revere. Dear brother of Donald F. Hagstrom & wife Gilda “Gail” Hagstrom of Revere & the late Robert, Charles, Earl & Norman “Red” Hagstrom & the late Geraldine Cann & Claire West. Cherished grandfather of Andrew T. Carbone, Olivia G. the presence of his God and loving family on Thursday May 9th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, following a long illness. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.) Revere. Interment will be private.
Billy was born & raised in Revere. He was educated at the Immaculate Conception School, then graduating from the Newman High School. He also attended classes at Merrimack College. As a young man, Billy began to work at Massport at Logan Airport in the Parking Garage. Due to his strong work ethic and his dedication, he rose to be a Manager at Massport, a career that would span 40 years. Billy married his one and only true love Kathleen Morris, the couple remained in Revere and together they raised their family. Billy was the essence of a family man. He was dedicated and loved nothing more than spending time with them. He loved his life up at his second home in Shapleigh, Maine. As he would fondly refer to as “Treasure Island”. He would be found enjoying time on his boat, giving people tours and frequently on the porch reading a favorite book and watching the sunset, always with his wife Kathleen by his side. Billy loved to read, especially books from his favorite authors.
He is the devoted husband of Kathleen (Morris) Churchill of Revere. Loving father of Revere Firefighter William G. “Billy” Churchill & wife Danielle (Ennamoranti) of Revere and the late Bridget M. Churchill. Beloved son of the late Frank A. “Chao-Chao” & Marie V.(Morgan) Churchill. Adored grandfather of William S. & Alice M. Churchill. Dear brother of Marie “Ree” Churchill of Topsfield & Mildred R. “Millie” Churchill of West Peabody. Cherished brother in law of Evelyn “Evie” Morris of Revere & Marjorie Margolis & husband Dr. Gerald Margolis of Needham. Born in East Boston, the family settled in Revere in the early 1930s, where “Renee” attended schools & was an alumna of Revere High School, Class of 1946. All of her life was spent as the most noble of all careers, as a “Mom” and that she did until Tuesday, May 7th at 8:17 a.m., when God called her home. Mrs. Kippenberger was an associate soloist for Immaculate Conception Parish Community for over 45 years, reverently serving her parish, even after her move to Topsfield, forty-four years ago.
She was the beloved wife of the late Retired Revere Fire Captain Paul F. Kippenberger, Sr., who passed in April of 2005. She is the devoted mother of Ret. Revere Fire Lt. Michael T. Kippenberger, Sr. & his wife, Mary Ellen of Topsfield, Katherine M. Call & her husband, John D. Call Jr. of Danvers & the late Dr. Paul F. Kippenberger, Jr., who passed in August of 2007. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael T. Kippenberger, Jr. & his wife Lauren of Tewksbury, Megan E. Smith & her husband, Colby J. Smith of Kensington, N.H. & Thomas J. Call & his companion, Michaela Quinby of No. Andover. She was the dear sister to the late Anna M. Polcaro, Margaret Tuite & Ret. Revere Fire Capt. Thomas J. Tuite, Jr. She is also lovingly survived by her two (2) great-grandchildren, Michael P. Kippenberger & Brooklyn K. Born & raised in Everett, she attended Everett schools and was a 1945 alumna of Everett High School. The family moved to Revere & her and her family remained here until she moved to Stoneham about 10 years ago. Mrs. Mudge worked for the former First National Bank of Boston and worked diligently to the position of Administrative Assistant & retired in 1992. Mrs. Mudge was widowed early in October of 1960 and was the sole source of income in her household. She had a 12-year-old son & a 5-year-old daughter to raise & educate and never re-married.
She was the wife of the late Herman O. Mudge. She is the cherished mother to Stephen F. Mudge & his wife, Ann of North Attleboro and Janice R. Burrill & her husband, Richard G. Burrill of Lynn. She is also the devoted grandmother of Christina L. DeCourcy & her husband, Andrew of Hamilton, Christopher R. Burrill of Lynn and Allison & Jonathan Mudge, both of North Attleboro. Born & raised in Chelsea, he lived most of his life in Revere and was an alumnus of Revere High School, Class of 1960. He & his family moved to Wakefield about 15 years ago. For over 17 years, he has been employed with the Mystic Valley Seniors as a meal coordinator, a job he loved and considered almost as a ministry helping the “Seniors” with their food planning. For many years, before working with Mystic Valley, he worked in retail management and for some ten years was a Retail Manager for the Bradlee’s Department Stores of New England. His greatest love & devotion was to his large and caring family. His sudden and unexpected passing is indeed an enormous grief to bear, however, as he was an active practicing Catholic, and a Eucharistic Minister for Immaculate Conception Parish, he was duly prepared, pray God.
He is the beloved husband of Roberta M. (Russo) Fountain & the cherished father of Andrea M. Clark of Danvers, J. Henry Fountain & his wife, Kim of Danvers, Nicole R. Sweet & her husband, Curtis of Sandown, NH., Justin A. Fountain & his fiancee, Stacey Roche & Amanda M. Green & her husband, Joseph all of Revere, Neal H. His interests were any technology involved with remote control products, i.e. autos, drones & helicopters. He was also a sports enthusiast, especially for the New England Patriots. However, his true & abiding devotion belonged to his wife, children, brothers & sisters and his dear mother-in-law & all his in-laws. He was indeed a “Family Man”.
He is the husband of 31 years to Gail M. (Cianciulli) Porier & the cherished father to Brianna L. & Justin S. Poirier, all of Peabody. He is the devoted son of Patricia M. Born in Boston, Carol was raised & educated in Revere, and was a 1961 alumna of Revere High School & a 1965 alumna of Boston University. Carol spent the greater part of her working career with the Revere School System, completing 20 years. Prior to her time with Revere Public Schools, she was a teacher for the Immaculate Conception School of Revere for about five years. Carol’s passion was working closely teaching children who spoke English as a second language. Her devotion was to make sure these students excelled in the English language affording them equal opportunity for success in life. She is a member of the Retired Revere Teachers’ Association.
She is the beloved wife of Richard J. Trefrey of Revere. Devoted sister of Louis C. Perullo, Jr. & his wife, Chantal of Leon France & Ferma J. Perullo-Kipnes & her husband Barry of Scottsdale, Arizona. Cherished aunt to Wendy Perullo-Diozzi & her husband Peter & their children, Anthony & Nicholas, all of Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Snyder died on Monday, April 15th at the Physicians Regional Medical Center of Naples, Florida, following a brief illness. A native of West Covina, California, he entered the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era in April of 1967 & served until April 1973. Robert held an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Mt. San Antonio Junior College of Walnut, California. His chief career, for over 25 years, was with Verizon (formerly known as G.T.E.). He worked as a Line Supervisor with extensive background in splicing and testing and labor administration. His Associate Degree in Sales brought him a position with Home Depot of Danvers as a Sales Associate. Although, he was not there for a long time, he was highly regarded by his supervisors and more importantly by his colleagues for his knowledge & genuine concern for his fellow man.
He is the beloved husband of 30 years to Linda B. (Caccamesi) Snyder, a former Revere native. He is the devoted brother to Jerald B. “Jerry” Snyder & his wife, Ida of Fontana, California, Sandy Smith & husband, Daniel of Ft. Dick, California & Terry R. Snyder of Lytle Creek, California. He is the beloved father to Heather Snyder & Michael Snyder, both of San Jose, California. He is also lovingly survived by 3 grandchildren, Alex, Troy and Joseph & many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services and interment in Woodlawn Cemetery were held on April 12th for Victor J. Staffier, who passed away following a long illness on Tuesday, April 9th. Mr. Staffier died at the Lighthouse Nursing & Care Center of Revere.
Born & raised in East Boston, he attended East Boston Schools & was an alumnus of Boston Trade School, Class of 1941. All of his working career was as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, for over 35 years. Mr. Staffier was an exemplary “Family Man”, who thoroughly enjoyed the company & presence of his Family. His late wife of over 50 years, Victoria B. (Angelo) Staffier passed on September 3, 2009. He was the son of the late Emilio & Louise (Giannattasio) Staffier.
He is the cherished father of Donna L. Sarmanian & her husband, Michael of Stoneham. He is the devoted grandfather to Jena E. Sarmanian of Stoneham, Lara M. Roche & her husband, Kenneth of Milton & Michael D. Sarmanian of Medford. He is the dear brother to Jennie Garufo of East Boston & the late Angelo J. “Al” Staffier, Michael, Ralph, George, Anthony, Thomas & Tomasina Staffier. He is also lovingly survived by his two 2great-grandaughters, Paige & Caroline Roche, both of Milton, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.
