Robertson-Rose, who died unexpectedly on Monday, July 27th at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, August 5th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 12: 00 P.M. (Noon).
She attended St. Rose High School of Chelsea and graduated in 1989. She continued her education at Bunker Hill Community College as a Medical Assistant and Secretary. For 10 years, she was employed by Massachusetts General Hospital Health Care, Norwood St. Division, in Everett as a medical secretary and receptionist.
She is the beloved mother of Ashley A. Robertson of Revere. She is the devoted daughter of Joan M. (Lombardi) Robertson of Revere and the late Carl D. Robertson. Her husband, Frederick B. Rose of Beverly also survives her. She is the dear sister to Michael A. Robertson and his wife Tracy of Lynn, Ronald N. Robertson and his companion Leah of Lynn. She is the special aunt to Kristen E. Robertson of Revere, Michael D. Robertson of Revere, Briana M. Robertson of Lynn, Nicholas J. Robertson of Essex and Dylan A. Robertson of Melrose. She is the special grand-aunt of John P. Green, Anthony and Nicholas Palladino and Leeann Paladino. She is also lovingly survived by William Roselli of Lynn. Interment will be held privately at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Vecchiarello, who passed away on Sunday evening, July 26th at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home in Chelsea, following a brief illness. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, August 1st at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St. (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Born and raised in Cambridge, he attended schools there. He enlisted in the US Army in 1951 during the Korean Conflict and served with the Bloody Bucket Brigade. He was honorably discharged in 1953. He married Helen (Pazyra) and together they moved to Revere and raised their family there. They have been residing in Revere for the past 62 years. John worked for over 25 years for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier delivering mail in Lynn. Following his retirement, he continued to work at the former Fleetwood Recording Studio in Revere and later as an usher at the Showcase Cinemas in Revere. John was an avid sports fan especially devoted to the local sports teams.
He is the Beloved husband of 62 years to Helen (Pazyra) Vecchiarello. Devoted father of Rosanne Rossetti and her husband Robert of Malden and Suzanne Mirisola and her husband Guy of Revere. Cherished grandfather of Corey Mirisola and his fiancé Kaitlyn of Lynn, Robert J. Rossetti of Danvers, Adam Rossetti of Malden, Ryan Mirisola of Revere and Alexis Rossetti of Malden. Adored great grandfather of Emma Rossetti. Dear brother of Concetta “Tina” Lonardelli of Cambridge and the late Carmella Vecchiarello and Louisa DiVasta. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert P. Kelly

Kelly, who died on Sunday, July 26th at his Point of Pines residence following a lengthy illness. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, July 31st at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 a.m.
Born in Everett, he was educated and raised in Revere, attended Revere schools and was a 1955 alumnus of Revere High School. In April of 1956, he entered the US Air Force, serving until March of 1960, as an Airman 2nd Class. He began his career in Police work, at the Winthrop Station, then transferring to the former M.D.C. Police in 1964 and remaining there until 1992. During the 1970s, Trooper Kelly, was a personal chauffeur to the late John Sears, Commissioner of the M.D.C. His tenure with John, was a milestone in his career and the formation of a life-long friendship with the late Sears, until his death last November. He returned to school and graduated from Northeastern University, School of Criminal Justice in 1975. He also held a 4 year term as Winthrop Park Commissioner. He is a member of RAMP (Retired Association of Metropolitan Police).
He leaves his wife Susan H. (Segal) Kelly. He is the devoted father of Karen M. Perrin and her husband Lt. Col. Brian J. Perrin of Winthrop, Robert P. Kelly, Jr. and his fiancé Crissy Cook of Deerfield Beach, FL, Eileen W. Johnson and her husband Erik M. Johnson of Winthrop, Wendi Joy Brenner and her partner Jennifer Brault of Lynn and the late Michael S. Brenner. He is the cherished grandfather of Brian J. and Daniel P. Perrin, Catherine M., Jillian K. and Mark R. Johnson, all of Winthrop. He is the dear brother of Dr. Albert W. Kelley and his late wife Dorothy P. of Revere and Paul F. Kelly and his wife Doreen of Everett. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and by Robyn Segal and her wife Denise Rivera of Lynn and Phillip H. Segal and his wife Laura of Wakefield. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Born and raised in Saugus, Ruth came to live in Revere over seventy years ago (70). She and her beloved husband of almost 72 years, Arthur T. Alexander, owned and operated the Revere Bus Company. Ruth not only managed most of the office work, she would often take the role of driver and repairwoman for the organization. They were the most loving couple, always together, and always seemed to be in synch with each other.
Besides her husband, Arthur, she is the devoted mother of Arthur T. Alexander Jr. and his wife Cynthia Ruffin of Hampton Falls, NH, Tracey B. Keefe and her husband Edmund M. Keefe, III of Bakersville, CA, and the late Susan L. Ricciardi. She is the cherished grandmother of Heather Widfeldt and her husband Randy of Gloucester, Matthew Alexander and his wife Koryn of Middleton, Ashley Parks and her husband Daniel of Lynnfield, Thomas A. Keefe and Daniel M. Keefe, both of Tehachapi, CA. She was the sister of the late William and Herbert Irving Barber. She is also lovingly survived by five (5) great-grandchildren. Born, raised and educated in Revere, she lived her entire life in Revere for ninety-six years. Mrs. Criscuoli was a long time member of the Revere Loyal Order of the Moose Ladies’ Chapter #1272. One of her fondest hobbies, was traveling with her daughter, here in the U.S.A. and throughout Europe.
She was the wife of the late Alfonso V. Criscuoli, who died in 2001. She is the devoted mother of Mary Jane Criscuoli of Revere. She is the cherished sister of Mafalda Russomando of Springfield, Anita Smith of Nahant, Rita Presley of Revere, Lydia O’Connor f Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Emily Warren and her husband Edward of Revere, Vienna Mooney and her husband Samuel of Youngsville, NC and the late Revere Patrolman George F. Cafarelli, Revere Police Lt. Antonio J. Cafarelli, Leonard F. Cafarelli, Olga Cafarelli and Anna Formica. Many, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews also survive her.

Mrs. Melchionno was born in Boston’s North End, raised there and was a 1952 graduate of the former Julie Billart Catholic Girl’s High School of Boston. She came to Revere over 60 years ago, after marrying Nicholas A. Melchionno. Mr. Melchionno died in May of 2013. Phyllis was a dedicated Mom, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed her family thoroughly & especially relished in the company of her grandchildren.
She is the devoted mother of Karyn Maglione and her husband Joseph of Revere and Lisa A. Melchionno of Peabody, formerly of Revere. She is the cherished grandmother of Nicholas A. Melchionno of Revere, Brianna R. Carney of Peabody and the late Joseph A. Maglione. Dear sister of Samuel Giso of Boston’s North End, Richard Giso and his wife Lucille of Peabody and the late Grace and Anthony Giso and Angelina Regan. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Private Funeral Services have been held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, for Mary T. (Little) Farrell, who died on Wednesday, July 15th at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center of Revere, following a long illness.
Born and raised in Dorchester, MA, she attended Boston schools and attended Emmanuel College. She served the Graphic Arts Communications Union (Bookbinders Union) as an executive secretary for over 20 years. Their office was on Beach St., Revere for many years.
She was the wife of the late Richard P. Farrell who passed in December of 1999. She is the devoted mother of Maria R. Schindler and her husband Christopher of Revere and the late Airman 1st Class, John E. Farrell. She is the cherished grandmother of David P. Schindler and his wife Cindi of Malden, April M. Schindler and her companion Brian Spinella, Jacklyn A. Schindler and her companion Steve Demaino, all of Revere and Adam J. Schindler and his fiancée Sara of Lowell . She was the dear sister of the late Veronica Cacciola and her late husband Salvatore. She is also lovingly survived by her 2 great grandchildren, Adam J. and Madison R. & best and faithful friend, Annemarie Cussen of Dorchester.

Theresa J. (DeLuca) Crivello

Dearly loved Theresa J. (DeLuca) Crivello passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 14th with family by her side at her home in Revere. Born, raised & educated in Revere, Mrs. Crivello, a 1936 alumna of Revere High School, met and married the love of her life, the late Vincent J. Crivello, in 1941. In 1926, her family opened “DeLuca’s Market” on the corner of Beach St. & Thurlow Ave. in Revere. Theresa dedicated countless hours assisting her parents & brother Angelo in the full operation of the market. Neighbors & customers will certainly remember her gracious smile, sense of humor, and willingness to be of service. During the Depression & beyond, she & her family at DeLuca’s Market were overwhelmingly kind & generous to folks bearing financial distress. Theresa worked at the store alongside her dear brother Angelo and later her beloved husband Vincent until it closed in 2010. Theresa & Vincent were active members of Immaculate Conception Parish Community. Both were long-time volunteers and supporters of the church and among the parish’s first appointed Eucharistic Ministers. This extraordinary couple enjoyed 72 years together in marriage before Vincent’s death in June 2013. Besides her devotion to family and friends, Theresa expressed her boundless love through cooking, baking, and handwork. She also enjoyed gardening and dance.
She is the cherished mother of Vincent J. Crivello, Jr. & his wife Marie (Revere), Janet M. Pletcher & her husband Stephen D. (Prides Crossing), & Marilyn J. Kobus & her husband Anton H. (Manchester-by-the-Sea). She is the devoted & adoring grandmother to Patricia M. Bright & her husband Ronald (Melrose), Diane L. Perry & her husband Richard (Peabody), Brian T. Pletcher & his wife Kellian (Somerville), Marisa L. Kobus (Medford), & Philip A. Kobus (Manchester-by-the-Sea); great-grandmother of Lindsay and Cory Bright, Brandon and Dillon Perry; & dear sister of the late Angelo H. & Ralph T. DeLuca. Also lovingly survived by her sister-in-law Angela DeLuca (Durham, NH) & many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
