A private funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 24rd, in Woodlawn Cemetery Community Mausoleum, Sheffield Building, for Mary J. (Bellofatto) Stavropoulos who died on Friday February 20th, 2015 at Annemark Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Revere. Born in Boston’s North End. The family later moved to Everett. Mary was raised and educated in Everett. Mary got married later in life, to Paul Stavropoulos. The couple moved to New York City. She and her husband resided there for many years. Mary had worked in Fashion and enjoyed her time living in New York. Mary & her husband returned back to Boston area, to be closer to her family about 15 years ago. Mary was an active volunteer for several churches & especially dedicated to helping the homeless while in New York. She is the devoted wife of the late Paul Stavropoulos, of whom she shared 42 years of marriage. She is the beloved sister of the late David Bellofatto, Marie Boccuzzi & Frank P. Bellofatto. She is the cherished aunt of JoAnn M. Alexander of Revere, Phyllis Jones of Virginia Beach, VA, Carol Vatcher of Saugus, David Bellofatto of MA & Marcia Bellofatto of Washington State. Also lovingly survived by several grandnieces, grandnephews & cousins. Entombment in Woodlawn Sheffield Community Mausoleum. Everett. Born & raised in Revere, Mary was educated in Revere Schools & was an alumna of RHS Class of 1944. On June 24th, 1951 Mary married her love, John G. Cardillo. The couple made their home in Revere, and began their family. Mary loved her family and being a mother. In later years she was blessed as a grandmother & then a great grandmother. She enjoyed being around her family and enjoying & sharing her love with them. She is the devoted wife of the late John G. Cardillo of whom she shared 60 years of marriage with. She is the loving mother of Paula Cardillo and LuAnn Cardillo, both of Revere. She is cherished grandmother of Kristyn Ann Pardi and her husband, James of Stoneham and Lauren Ann Kulakowski of Revere. She is also lovingly survived by her great granddaughter, Juliana Maria Pardi & her great grandson Justin John Pardi. She is the beloved sister of Eleanor Aiello, Anna McCarthy, Benjamin Alba all of Revere & the late Anthony Alba. Also lovingly survived by several nieces & nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews, & her canine companion “Jack”. Bernard F. “Franny” Boudette

A Funeral Service will take place following the visitation in the funeral home. Born & raised in Revere, Franny was a life long Resident. He attended Immaculate Conception Grammar & High School and was the Class President of the Class of 1941, . After graduation, Franny worked at Forbes Lithograph for a short time. In 1943 he enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country during the 2nd World War. 1946 Franny returned home and enrolled to Franklin Tech, attending a two year program, earning a certificate in Electrical Training. During this time, he was working for Boston Naval Ship Yard. In 1948 Franny would wed his bride, Lillian M. “Chickie” Ginnetti. The couple remained in Revere and started their family together. He later went to work at John Hancock Life Insurance Company as a Mechanical Systems Operator. Franny was known as being a quiet man, but had a very witty sense of humor. He was also a man who loved his family and was extremely humble. He is the devoted husband of Lillian M. “Chickie” (Ginnetti) Boudette of whom he shared 66 years of marriage. He is the loving father of Karen M. Webb & her husband Bill, He is the cherished grandfather of Eric J. Webb & Kristin E. Toledo & her husband Donny & the adored great grandfather of Jordan, Maxwell & Isabella all of Revere. He is the beloved brother of Catherine McCormack of Topsfield & the late C. Robert Boudette, Richard Boudette & Irene Guidara. He is the special brother in law of Mary “Molly” Boudette of Revere & Theresa Boudette of Saugus . Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Late U.S. Army WWII Veteran. Born in Boston’s North End, the family later settled in Revere. John was educated in the Revere. John began working in the contracting business. During his time working in the trades, John found his niche as a “painter”. Painting was his expertise. John is the loving son of the late Leonardo A. & Giovanna (Rinaldo) Falcucci.
He is the cherished brother of Michael “Freddie” Falcucci & Archangelo Falcucci both of Revere, Maria Grace Nicoloro & her husband Peter of Cambridge. Philip Falcucci, Anthony P. Falcucci & his wife Sheila all of Revere, Angela Falcucci of Boston & the late Carmela Falcucci. He is the beloved companion of Deborah Ragucci of Revere & her sons Kenneth Ragucci & Michael t. Ragucci and her granddaughter Kaylee Ragucci. Also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Also survived by Christopher Cleary. Interment will be private.

Born in Somerville on August 10th, 1930, he was raised & educated in Somerville and attended Somerville High School. A longtime Somerville resident, he relocated to Malden 30 years ago. Bob worked for many years as an auto body mechanic for Hood Milk in Somerville until his retirement. He loved horses and enjoyed frequent trips to Suffolk Down and due to his dapper appearance and his love for hate become affectionately known as “Bob the Hat”. A generous and kind man, Bob will also be remembered for his sense of humor and his enjoyment of life to the fullest.
He was the beloved husband of 52 years to the late Charlotte D. “Dottie” Hendsbee and the former husband of Mildred “Millie” (Blakely) Hendsbee. He is the devoted father of Lynn L. Hendsbee of Malden and Laura A. Garmon Hendsbee of Somerville and her late husband Steven. Dear brother of the late Eugene Hendsbee. Bob is also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives in Maine. Entombment will take place in the Community Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.

She made her home in Revere, and began her family, having one son, Joseph. She loved being a mother and taking care of her home. Phyllis was known to enjoy life and spending time with her family. Phyllis worked at Almy’s Department Store in Revere for over five years. She is the wife of the late Henry S. Bialecki of whom she shared 51 years of marriage with. She is the loving mother of Joseph J. Bialecki & his wife Theresa J. of Danvers & Florida. She is the cherished grandmother of Mary O. Miele & her husband Michael, Gerald J. Bialecki & his wife Kelly & Jean M. Donovan & her husband John. She is the cherished great grandmother of Shawn Mielle, Joseph Bialecki, Andrew Bialecki, Nicholas & Calli Donovan. Harry C. Terenzi
Harry C. Terenzi, age 98, of Revere, died on Monday, February 9, 2015, surrounded by his family.Harry was born on July 7, 1916 in Lynn, MA and grew up in the Brickyard neighborhood of the city, the son of Lorenzo and Julia (Poretta) Terenzi. He was a baker before joining the Civilian Conservation Corps. When war broke out he was drafted by the US Army. He fought proudly in the Pacific theater with the 32nd ‘Red Arrow’ Infantry Division, spending more than three years in Australia, New Guinea, and the Philippines. He engaged in the battles of Buna, Leyte, Luzon, and others. Telling stories of these battles and long treks in the jungles of the South Pacific, Harry often recalled his promise to himself that if he got out alive, he’d count every day after a bonus. He was one of six siblings who served in the Armed Forces in World War II, all of whom survived.Upon return home, Harry joined the US Postal Service. He married the love of his life and had three children. He was an avid stamp collector and amazing cook. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family, sharing his love for books, stamps, and information about everything from golf to astronomy to family history. He was a great storyteller and always got as much a kick out of himself as those around him did. A proud patriot, he wore his 32nd Division hat with its dozen pins wherever he went. His kindness, generosity, and laughter will be greatly missed by his loving friends and family.He leaves behind his wife of 75 years, Angelina (Polcari) of Revere, their three children, Ronald, Karen (Crane), and Richard, son-in-law Frank Crane, and daughters-in-law Rose (Imbrescia) and Mary Jane (Wemmelmann). He was the grandfather of ten, Althea Terenzi, Tanya Valverde, Alyssia Sebastian, William Crane, the late Danielle Crane, Nicole Crane, Liane Terenzi, Valerie Terenzi, Domenic Terenzi, and Anthony Terenzi. He also leaves eleven adoring great-grandchildren. He was the eldest brother of the late Angelo Terenzi, Matthew Terenzi, William Terenzi, Antonio Terenzi, Frances Cashman, and Mary Jarzylo.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Anthony’s Parish, 250 Revere Street, Revere, on Saturday at 10 A.M., followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, with reception immediately following at the Revere Historic Society, 108 Beach Street, Revere. It is well known what a “Shopper’ Annette was. She loved shopping for almost anything & always had a coupon for it. She is the devoted wife of Guy Zaccone of Revere, of whom she shared 61 years of marriage. She is the loving mother of Stephen G. Zaccone & his wife Elaine S. of Orlando, FL & Mark E. Dennis C. Toomey
Dennis C. Toomey, of Revere passed away on February 6. He was born in Chelsea and grew up in Revere. He attended Immaculate Conception Grammar school, Revere High school, and Staley College. After college, he became a buyer for Jordan Marsh in Boston, and later moved to New York City, where he became a successful businessman for major department stores.Dennis had an absolute passion for life and love of people. To anyone who met him, he made a lasting impression. He had a truly unique gift of making every person feel special. He always had a million questions, because he cared so very much about others. Rather than talk about himself, he loved to listen to other people’s life stories.Friends have described him as a, “man about town,” who had the ability to connect with people of any age, and he especially loved young people. He was a guiding figure for his adoring nieces and nephews, always lending advice about their lives, hopes and dreams. His nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, loved to spend time with him, as he was truly, “young at heart,” and related to every one of them, no matter what their age, through every stage of their lives.He loved to travel, lived in Honolulu, New York and New Jersey, and traveled to many places around the world, including his family’s homeland of Ireland. Also of Italian descent, Dennis loved “good food,” and was an amazing cook, a most decadent host, and party planner who made any gathering elegant and truly special.Most important, Dennis was absolutely devoted to his family, moving back to Revere to care for his parents, Margaret and Thomas B. Toomey. He was a giving, loving man to his family and to numerous friends, and he was generous to a fault. Throughout his life he shared a very special bond with his siblings, Katherine, “Kay,” Marilyn and his brother, James “Bobby,” and his six nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.He was deeply committed to his hometown of Revere and worked tirelessly on numerous mayoral campaigns. Dennis also worked as a substitute teacher at Revere’s Seacoast School, where he was beloved by his students who called him, “Mr. T.Dennis was truly unforgettable, unlike anyone most of us will ever have the pleasure of knowing in our lifetimes, a rare human being, taken from us much too soon, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.Dennis was the beloved brother, of James “Bobby,” Toomey of Revere and sister, Marilyn Longden and her husband Raymond Longden of Fairfield, CT; the cherished uncle of Christina M. Longden and Sarah Longden Ulc and her husband, Kenneth Ulc of Fairfield, Connecticut, Kathleen Bright-Procopio and her husband, David Procopio of Revere, Paul A. Bright Jr. of Revere, Revere Fire Deputy Chief Christopher Bright and his wife, Mary Bright of Wakefield, and Amy Ciccone and her husband Eric Ciccone of Marblehead. He is also lovingly survived by several great nieces and nephews. Dennis is pre-deceased by his parents, Margaret and Thomas B. Toomey, and his sister, Katherine, “Kay,” Bright and her husband, Paul A. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, February 12th at 9 a.m., following a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St. Revere. Theresa was born & raised in East Boston by her Italian Immigrant parents, Emilio & Assunta (Perotti) Cianfrocca. Theresa was one of 6 children, 4 sisters & 1 brother. She was educated in the Boston Public Schools. Like many families of this generation, Theresa grew up very close to her sisters & brother but also her aunts, uncles & cousins. Truly a very tight knit family. In 1943 she would marry the “love of her life” Victor R. Lanciotti. After the couple wed, they remained in East Boston, raising their only child, Linda. Theresa for many years worked by her husband’s side, at their business, Maverick Cleaners, located in Maverick Square, later in Day Square,in East Boston. In 1964, Theresa lost her husband but she continued on with her daughter and all of her loving family around her. Theresa was a woman who had a great faith and had a zest for life. She is the devoted wife of the late Victor R. Lanciotti. She is the loving & cherished mother of Linda D. Pastore of Revere. She is the beloved sister of Gilda Fontes of Beverly and the late Elena Zullo, Caroline Sullo, Linda Dias & Joseph Cianfrocca. Also lovingly survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
